Hello!

Went out to a horse field today to test out my new camera!I spent lots of time looking for good shots in the woods and dodging muddy slopes and snake dens but I think I got some nice photos out of it. I also spent some good time with the horses who assumed my camera bag was a pellet satchel full of snacks so they were very eager to say hello. I am not around larger animals a lot so seeing horses or cows up close is so welcome to me as they are such beautiful creatures and they act like big dogs in reality.

Really this whole trip was about testing my camera to see how it holds up and how different apertures change the photos. I tried using the sunny 16 method cuz I left my phone in the car so we'll see how well (probably pretty bad ngl) they come out. after I realized I was late for class but that's ok cuz it was still totally worth it. Got some free sharpies and a washer from cleaning up a newly built engineering room between classes, and did some boring work during class. I had work after class and decided to order a lens for cheap so hopefully i'll get even more options for nice photos when that eventually arrives. when I finally got home I made the lovely realization that I had 20-40 chiggers attached to my legs (I was walking through tall shaded grass next to a river I was kinda asking for it lets be honest) and since i've removed them the and it's been some time my legs now constantly burn in itchy pain and will continue till they heal in about a week. STILL WORTH IT BECAUSE IT WAS FUN. All I know is it's been very hard to concentrate on writing this with all the itchiness.

After so much time i have finally managed to get pictures for this. they are nothing special but to finally have them is a good feeling. I had to scan them in personally on a home printer so expect inperfections with image quality. (it has been too long for me to remember what film i useed so they have none listed in the gallery)
